Tis the season to try new recipes!
I know we tend to make the same foods every year for Christmas. And there is nothing at all wrong with that. Christmas is the perfect time to honour the recipes of our forebears, maybe giving them a modern or healthier tweak. I cook for a small but discerning crowd, and some things are just expected: bread sauce, chestnut stuffing (the kind that is really a gravy – my mother-in-law is pro at it), roast potatoes, orange-spiked cranberry sauce, something Brussels sprouty.
But every year I try and feature a new recipe on my festive table. Often it is a twist on cornbread stuffing (honouring my southern USA roots) or some new way with roasted veggies. I’m still deciding what this year’s twist will be. Maybe you are too.
Here are some of the more Christmassy recipes I’ve posted over the years. I hope they inspire you and give you some ideas for your own festive spread. I’ll be back soon with filling and healthy winter breakfast ideas. xx

What an amazing selection Kellie. I have shared it on Twitter.
I really want to try those rosti cakes.
I absolutely adore your recipes Kellie. These ALL sound fantastic! Can I come round for Christmas dinner? 😀
A perfect collection for any time of year 😀😀😀😀
So many good recipes in that archive of yours! I still want to try out the smoky-roasted Brussels and maple-roasted carrots. And I can vouch for how good that carrot and tallegio tarte tatin is!
Such a vibrant array of dishes. Could I please have the persimmon and pomegranate salad? The cauliflower cheesecake you published the other day also looked fabulous. I would much rather eat such exciting dishes than having the traditional but boring xmas dinner!
I always sneak in a new dish to go with the favorites. After all food memories are so much a part of the holidays! I’m smitten with the Poached Pear and Endive Salad. The vibrant holiday colors and healthy ingredients make this salad a must try!
Great recipes! I can stop just making nut roast every year now lol
I haven’t read through the recipes yet as I’ve been too mesmerized by the lovely photos, I look forward to studying the recipes at the weekend x
That phillo pastry tart looks like a work of art! And the pear tart is so pretty! Love your presentation and yummy foods 😘😜😋
Yum
Merry Christmas and thanks for the amazing recipes all year long.

Great round up. Making the cauliflower cake for my veggie guests on Christmas day. Have a wonderful Christmas Kellie.
Yay! I am very very chuffed to know that I will be at your table, so to speak. I hoe your daughter enjoys it. We like it best warm (re-warmed in the oven in foil is just fine), and hubs likes it with ketchup! Enjoy your holidays. I just wish I could blow a bit of cool air your way!
