Just a quickie to let you know that I have been nominated for a Dorset Cereals food blog award. As I am quite new to this blogging lark I am ‘dead-chuffed’, as we say around these parts (translation: one is immensely pleased). If you feel so inclined, I would really appreciate it if you took the time to vote for me. I hope it doesn’t take too long. I couldn’t get the cute little logo to appear with the voting code, so please ignore the ineptitude.
When we don’t have any homemade granola in the cupboard our go-to cereal is Dorset – their toasted spelt barley & oat is my favourite. If I win (long shot especially as the contest started at the beginning of the month) I get a case of cereals, a goody bag and the coveted little blog awards egg cup (ooh, ahh).
Thank you for reading this shameless plug. I doubt this will happen again!
I have voted! I was also nominated for this too and was embarrassed to post a please vote message on my blog ~ felt strange doing it! I was also CHUFFED to bits to be nominated as I have only been blogging since June 2011, and if I win my mum and dad will get my goodie bag as they LOVE Dorset Cereals and it will help them put a bit, I will keep the egg cosy though! LOL! GOOD LUCK!
Karen
Thanks Karen. I couldn’t get the widget onto the blog so it looks weel naff, but I think that’s a wordpress quirk – they hate non wp widgets. Good luck to you too. You are way ahead of the pack!
Good luck k – we’ve voted – agree with you re the Dorset spelt – rather good.
Thank you Mr K. If I win (ha ha) you can have any spelt cereal I get. 😀
Just voted! Good luck to you, Kellie!!
That’s so kind of you Faith. I hope the link wasn’t too much of a pain. I couldn’t get the widget link to make the cute little picture and voting link come up. I’m hopeless, or wordpress is too picky.
Voted for you Kellie – yes found the link tricky – went via the Dorset site itself. Good luck!
Thank you for persevering. I haven’t looked at the site but I imagine my friend over at lavender and lovage has run away with it! She was miles ahead when last i looked.
